They say the wagon wheel ruts can still be seen in the prairie, 175 years later. It's tough to imagine how enormously difficult that trek must have been back then.
I wonder if they were able to put aside their struggles long enough to take in the beautiful scenery around them?
blogs and kittycats hadn't been invented yet, back then. it must have been a really long road.
